Field Biography

 

Jaffer .A. Farjallah.


As the Managing Director and the Brain behind Jaffer freighters ltd, Jaffer Abdallah Farjallah with a vast experience of more than 18 years, over sees and actively participates in all the company operations as well as spear heading the Regional partners in pursuit of their objectives and goals aimed at excellence and perfection for the benefit of the clientele.

He has been elected and re-elected to the post of National Treasurer in the National Association of UCIFA-Uganda Clearing Industry & Forwarding Association since 2004 to date. He has a degree in Business Administration and a Diploma in Clearing and forwarding.

 

 

UMULIISA GRACE:


She is the Operations Director and is a competent person with vast experience in Operations and has gone a long way in ensuring fast delivery of documents and services.
She has over 12 years experience with a University degree in Business Administration, Diploma in Clearing and Freight Forwarding.

 

BARAKAT MOHAMMED.

 

He doubles as a Director in both Jaffer freighters ltd and Barak Logistics Ltd with his offices situated in Nairobi Kenya.

He has a vast experience in Logistics Management and is directly in Charge of our fleet and also for Marketing in coordination with our counter parts in Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania.


KARUGAGA MERAB:


She is the Public relations Manager and has been very instrumental in maintaining the company image as well as coordinating various activities amongst our Regional Partners. She has more than 6 years experience in the industry and has a Degree in Social works & social administration/Development studies, Diploma in Public Relations Management as well as a diploma in Clearing and forwarding.

 

RICHARD KATOMIZE:

He controls the company books of accounts, manages and controls all the company Financial and Tax affairs. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Accounting, a member of the institute of Certified Public Accountants and over 9 years work experience capable of advising our clients on local Tax and Audit issues.

 

SENIOR TECHINICAL STAFF/MANAGERS

Ibrahim Ssembatya, Frank Kalule, John Baina, Adrine Katushabe, Suleiman Idd, Aston Kubuye, Wekesa Alex, Juliet Nansuksa and Jamila Nsimenta complimented by a number of declaration and field officers who aid in efficient documentation and on time cargo delivery in conformity with our compliance structure.
All the above mentioned managers have over 7 years Experience.

The rest of our staff are self motivated and are flanked by trainees from reputable colleges like Carrier Institute, Makerere business school and YMCA with diplomas and certificates in clearing and forwarding thus providing suffecient work force leading to effective execution of customs documentation.
